May 11, 200421 yr I look at it this way: It takes someone that's "athletic" to be able to drive these cars at those speed in that heat for 500 miles. That's why I view them as athletes and it as a sport. Just my opinion. I would never consider someone athletic just because they can drive a car at a high rate of speed in a circle.
