I have an off-topic, kind of, post here, that I've always thought of, for some wierd reason.

Hawk just said, and mostly all announcers say, when the pitching count is either 1-1 or 2-2, that the count is even. Well, is it really? Wouldn't the count be even if it's 1-0, 2-1, or 3-2? Because there is one more ball than a strike is what I mean, and if it's a 2-1 count, the pitcher has to get two more strikes and has two balls left until a strikeout or a ball respectively. I don't know, that's something that I've always thought of.

Does anyone have thoughts on this irrelevant, odd post?

I think you think too much

Good inning, Marte!

Olivo to the Top of the Order! Let's go Sox! :headbang

thanks for the update gameday is stuck, keep 'em coming.

Perez PHing for Olivo.

Timo is PH'ing for MO.

I smell a Jamie Burke siting within the next 15 minutes(which means I also smell a big inning for the Sox here)

Timo popout.

Good job umping tonight, Hawk just mentioned it and I agree.

thanks guys, it seems to be fixed, let's go TIMO!!!

Uribe rips a base hit.

Come on Jose, redeem yourself for all your terribleness.

Uribe one-out single. That a boy Uribe! Speed aboard!

rally time!!

And Uribe now with 3/5 night

Did we give the Rockies any vaseline with that stiff Miles?

Let's go Jose, time for a clutch hit!

lol, Flash Tizzle, you'll be happy to know that Hawk said, yet again, that Valentin was "just underneath" it.

Uribe steals 2nd!

Uribe steals second, 3-2 Jose!

Jose K's, you f***er.

Jose whiffs on a pitch down and away in the dirt. Awful.

Come on Mags, you need to get a clutch hit! :headbang

Wow Uribe is unbelievable.... :headbang

Infield hit for Mags.

Runners on the corners, 2 outs, for Frank.

Time for a big clutch hit Frank! :headbang

Mags singles on a high chopper, infield single. And all Jose had to do was get him to third and that run would have scored. Runners at the corners, Thomas up.

is Valentin still hurt or did he just feel he didn't need to run out that drop third strike?

O-E-O
