Out of consideration to the families of the other graduates, The Bush's have decided to not attend their daughter's graduations. They felt the focus should be on the graduates and not how long the metal detector lines would be.

FYI Jenna is graduating from University of Texas in Austin Go Longhorns! and her sister is graduating from some small, university known for it's weak athletics. I can't remember the name, Yale or something. It could be a locksmith school.

Obviously Jenna is the smart one. ;)

I'd want the President there. I wouldn't mind the long lines. How cool is that?

If he/she had relatives graduating, sure. Otherwise, I guess it's a maybe (depending on my opinion of the President - obviously taking about future as well as now).

let's turn a 6 hour event into a 9 hour event. sounds good to me

Depends who the pres is... If it was Bush he can stay far far away from my high school this year. But Clinton on the other hand, I would welcome him to my graduation with the most openist arms ever.

I don't think you have to worry about it. Graduating, I mean. ;)

You're seriously right, i'm in big danger of not graduating and getting left back again.

He's prob worried they mite get drunk bf graduation.

The Prez wouldn't be able to understand the commencement speech(es) anyway...they tend to have a lot of poly-syllabic words in them, and usually talk about "hope for the future".

i find it f***ing amazing that a man would not even bother to see his daughters graduate from college.

shows you how silver spoon fed the entire bush family is. unbelievable.
