Minor League Hockey Player

Hamilton's Alexander Perezhokin ( forgive the spelling ) was suspended for the entire 2004/5 season by the AHL for that NASTY two-handed swing to the face of a Cleveland defenseman recently in their playoff series.

Don't know if anyone saw the video of this, but it was SICK. The poor kid was spasming on the ice after taking a baseball swing right to the face. Ugly ugly s***, I'm glad the AHL put the hammer down on that idiot.

The video was sick. There is zero excuse for what the kid did, and he deserves every game of that suspension.

That was some serious s***... saw that on sportscenter..... and wow. really dissapointed to be a hockey player.

I didn't see it...anyone got a link?

I don't have a link but think of the two handed baseball swing that was taken against Brasher a couple of years ago. I can't remember the name of the guy who did it now...

That was Marty McSorley, who put the hit (or swing) on Brashear in Vancouver.

That's it. It was a tiff in front of the net, the guy who got hit, put a really good shot on the kid who is in trouble trying to clear him away, and so the kid turned around with full momentum with a swing that looked like he was trying to hit a fastball, right into the head of the other kid.

in fairness.... the guy who got clocked took a baseball swing looking for the back of that guys kneecap.. he just missed. looked like a dirty game, awful shame that hockey is starting to portray some sick f***ing s***.

frankly an attack like that deserves legal charges made against him, it's disgusting

McSorley's incident wasn't even close to as bad as this one.

No it wasn't. That was just the closest thing to it I could come up with, without pictures.
