Where do you go for your minor league info

Featured Replies

Other than Futuresox.com (I love the top 50 guys), and this forum. Where do you go for stats and stuff?

I like using minorleaguebaseball.com. They have in-game updates, and keep the stats up to date. My only complaint is that they don't give the more modern pitching statistics. If I want to find a guys whip or k/9 or BB/9 I have to break out my calculator.

Anyone know a good site that compiles a lot of stats.

Baseball America always has good analysis. U can get a daily e-mail from them and they send u stats of how the main prospects performed today.

I was under the impression that you have to be a subscriber to get around BA's website. Is this incorrect?

I have been thinking about getting a subscription, but I already get SI, ESPN, Sportsweekly, and the newspaper everyday, so I am overwhelmed with stuff to read.

I think u can join up without paying, but u can't get into some of the stuff they have which u need to subscribe for.

Their player finder and some of their other content is free...

Each team's web site is informative. Some are better than others, but they should have all the stats you need there.

Most should be linked into The Sportsnetwork which has the MLB and MiLB stats contract this year. The leaders stats are sortable, so you can click on a stat at the top and it will list them using that category.

An example.........

Birmingham Barons 2004 Statistics

For prior stats, I always go to www.sports-wired.com and for in season stats I usually look at the teams website.

Yeah I've been using sports-wired for the Top 50.

I love how sports-wired gives the drafts from previous years.

If baseball is your sport, go to BA, they beat the hell out of anyone for baseball info, it is my main source, and I read the daily newspapers for each of our farmclubs cities.
