May 10, 200421 yr You guys are making my argument for sitting Konerko look jgood. If he is so bad in May, put him on the bench until Memorial Day. That's the kind of thing that would make his slump continue on to the next month. And someone said Konerko is in a 2 year slump, I guess that's true if you cut out the entire second half of last year!
May 10, 200421 yr Why not just have a straight Konerko/Gload platoon for about 3 weeks. That would get Gload a few sorely needed at bats as well.

Nope. He's got to get them in there from time to time and try and get them going. Crede's been starting to hit the ball with some authority lately, so let's see if he's beginning a hot streak.
May 12, 200421 yr Author Crede hit a big bases empty homer in Baltimore, but he looked totally overmatched other than that hit. I say he needs to sit for a few games, same as PK.
May 12, 200421 yr Pitching isn't a top concern at the moment for this team. I don't think that we're watching the same team. We're talking about the White Sox here, correct? Or somebody else? Let me know. I think it's common knowledge that pitching is holding us back from being a top tier team in the AL.
