I have to ask is the attitude towards pot really different in the U.S. then Canada. Cause I don't know many people who are too worried about mj. I actually don't smoke it but I don't know many others that don't.

I read somewhere and I also heard Dr. Michael Baden (from the Autopsy series) say that 40% of all unnatural deaths in the US are linked to alcohol. Stupid people might be more inclined to chill out if they're smoking the greenery. But it's too boring for them, so they have to move on to advanced level drugs like heroin or whatever the argument in the US is. I found out recently that a guy I knew from my old neighborhood has a $200 a day coke habit without a job (obviously). That is really f***ed up, but it's not because he tried weed and then everything snowballed from there He's just a floundering idiot. Just like my cousin, who nearly died last year from an overdose. That guy will sniff paint thinner if it comes down to it.
