Featured Replies

players worth their weight? sea has just sign 2 of the league best players and i was wondering if any one knows of this league and prospects?

I don't really have a clue about that league, but ocassionally guys come out of the independent league and end up turning into something, but it is pretty rare.

I'm not sure who Seattle signed so they could of ended up signing guys they had drafted but that had held out as well.

Wasn't Jeff Zimmerman the last big name to come out of an Independent League?

I know that Clay Eason, a AA/AAA prospect of ours, was the Independent Player of the Year last year.

we signed a catcher from the joliet jackhammers last year....and the schaumburg flyers signed pitcher tommy john the 3rd for their team which im sure someone will pick up for their bull pen sooner or later.. he had a decient season .....
