February 18, 200323 yr Some reports have indicated that a 3 team swap could happen by the trade deadline. Golden State would recieve Gary Payton while they would be trading Mike Dunleavy and Jason Richardson. The Chicago Bulls would solve their backcourt woes acquiring the talented shooting guard Jason Richardson and the #3 pick in the NBA draft Mike Dunleavy, who has fallen out of favor in Golden State. The Bulls would then deal Marcus Fizer, Jamaal Crawford, and Eddy Curry to the Sonics. I know I'm all in favor of this deal. Then I'd root for the Bulls to go out and sign Olowakandi to a reasonable offer to play center with Tyson, Marshall and Baxter all fighting for time as well. Not sure how much truth there is to this, and I'm assuming there could be some salary equalizers, but I'd love getting Jrich in the backcourt and giving Dunleavy plenty of time at small forward and shooting guard.
February 19, 200323 yr Olowakandi sucks and JRich is one of the most overrated players in the game. I'd rather have Gary Payton. Plus, I still think Eddy Curry could be a major star. Also this wont happen, Golden State is cheap as hell, no way they add Payton cause they know they wont pay him.

February 19, 200323 yr This deal can't happen, looking over th, the salary difference there's a 11-13 million dollar gap. For this deal to work the Sonics would need another player that makes 5.5 to 6 mil and the Bulls would need to take a player making 6+ mil. In other words this deal is financially impossible.
February 19, 200323 yr Actually you could trade E-Rob who sucks. Then the Bulls would need a player(s) that makes 6.5-8 million to make the deal work. There's too many players and too much money involved for this deal to work. About the only player that the Bulls could trade for would be Eddie Jones, and thet'd need Portland or New York to get involved.
