May 17, 200421 yr I love this quote. I can't stande DW anyway. FOX analyst Darrell Waltrip has suggested that NASCAR sit Stewart down for his rough driving this year, but Stewart clearly disagrees. Just past the halfway point Saturday night, Stewart was trailing leader Michael Waltrip for several laps, content to follow Waltrip for several laps. Why was he so patient? "You've got to keep in mind, I've got his brother up in the booth," Stewart said. "He's been carrying a hatchet on me the last couple weeks. You don't dare touch his little brother out there for fear that he was going to crush you in the media."
May 17, 200421 yr DW is a horse's ass. I can't stand either Waltrip. Brian and I were surprised he said what he said though. I wonder how many drivers will exact a sort of 'revenge' when the 'playoffs' roll around and said drivers aren't in the running.

I was at a wedding Saturday night in Indianapolis and couldn't find it on TV anywhere.
May 17, 200421 yr Was the race on FX? I was at a wedding Saturday night in Indianapolis and couldn't find it on TV anywhere. Yeah. Coverage wasn't bad, but there were still too many damned commercials.
May 17, 200421 yr Yeah. Coverage wasn't bad, but there were still too many damned commercials. Those aren't commercials, those are the cars and drivers. I know it is hard to tell the difference.
May 17, 200421 yr Author Excuse me this is the Sports Forum. Let's keep this pure sports talk. Ya know. I'm really getting tired of f***ing assholes that feel it necessary to hijack NASCAR threads with the same old tired-assed arguement that it's not a sport. Newsflash: we're not debating that. We're talking about the race on Saturday night. Make a comment about that or kiss my ass!
May 17, 200421 yr So speaking of sports I drove on the Dan Ryan this weekend Now you have to kiss mreye's ass.
May 17, 200421 yr Now you have to kiss mreye's ass. :puke That wasn't the smartest thing I have ever done
May 17, 200421 yr :puke That wasn't the smartest thing I have ever done And by the way, you didn't just drive down the Dan Ryan, you were in training for Bass Pro Shops MBNA 500 on Halloween Day in Hotlanta! They use those at the races all of the time. They are to NASCAR, what I am to baseball.
May 17, 200421 yr My in laws are huge NASCAR fans. They use those at the races all of the time. They are to NASCAR, what I am to baseball. Wow, do they have 12,000 posts at some secret NASCAR bulletin board?

I don't get people who feel it necessary to put it down every chance they get.
May 17, 200421 yr Author True. I don't get people who feel it necessary to put it down every chance they get. Thank you. That's all I was trying to say.

May 18, 200421 yr True. I don't get people who feel it necessary to put it down every chance they get. It was my first time.
May 18, 200421 yr It was my first time. Eh, yours was tame. Shuf's comment was the one that aggrivated me.

May 18, 200421 yr Author NASCAR fans are a touchy group. Not touchy. Just tired of the same old line.
May 18, 200421 yr The worst part was before the race when Tony told DW that without the past champions provisional he wouldnt have raced his last 2 or so years because he wouldnt have made the race. I personally like DW and Mikey but I still think that it was funny what Stewart said. Also i have to agree with playa hatin , i love it how Mikey always finds a way to get every sponsor in his interviews and on "his" show. And i really love Nascar cuz i have a scanner to thats alot bigger then that ugly looking new one they came out with. Cant go to a race without a scanner.
