Yeah, but how much of it is padded by blow-outs? USCF series against Minny is a good example. Sox outscored the Twins. Twins took 2 out of 3.

 

As far as runs given up....Now that Sox are facing Texas and Anaheim, following by a tough-ass June schedule, we're gonna see just what our rotation is made of.

I agree with you on that point about the runs scored but the rotation has been solid, save for the 5th slot, thus accounting for the 3rd place in runs allowed.

The Sox offensive stats are studly all over the board their ranks in all of MLB include

 

3rd in OPS .812

3rd in Runs scored 241

4th in BA .280

4th in HR 59

Just if crede could get his horrible average up the overall teams would go up 2,3,or 4 points.

15 out of the Sox's 25 wins have been decided by 3 runs or less.
