All-Star Game

Featured Replies

I'm just wondering if anyone is going to be going to the All-Start game this year? I am most likely getting tickets from one of my cousin's husbands because he has his connections. Just wondering if I would be seeing any of you there. If you are planning on not going, what will you be doing the day of the All-Star game?

I'll watch the home run derby and see a player or two totally f*** up their swing for the rest of the year...and then I will watch the [multiple] White Sox All-Stars play.

Grobber? If not, who?

Anyway, I'll probably be in the livingroom, raising my little sister right, rooting for the Sox players in the game.

Fritz Konstantelos. Used to broadcast on fridays I think with Mike North. They were the "Wise Guys"

On my couch :( Damn i wish i could go. Hopefully i'll get chance to see the Home Run Derby.

What the hell are you talking about it's not on national TV? They do show ESPN across the country, don't they?

sry i was talking bout regular non-cable tv (for cheap folks like me), espn's cable

I'm gonna be stuck in Italy... I guess not stuck, but I'll be missing a month of sox games.

I will at the cell watching the game.

My question is - who comes on my extra ticket?

My grandson who is 8 and maybe too young to appreciate it?

My best friend since 1965 who goes to a lot of games with me but isn't that much of a baseball fan so he couldn't care one way or the other?

My buddy whose house I stay at 99% of the time when I am in Chicago, diehard Sox fan, but is legally blind and won't exactly see the game if I bring him?

Someone else?

I'll be watching it from california, probably from my house with a couple buddies there. Now if we talk about the series and the Sox are there, well then I'm flying out.

And Chunk, don't worry, the good times are going to start once the playoffs roll around. This is going to be an awesome yeare, I can feel it :headbang

When regular tickets come out I'm getting my All-Star game tickets immediately. Sox say they will eb sold out, but I don't believe that! I'm going to everything during All-Star Weekend!

I'll be home in D.C. watching the all star festivities, and of course, the game.

They will(unfortunately) show it on Fox....this is unfortunate for those of us with cable....because Joe Buck and Tim McCarver and who not else are morons.

You sure about that? I heard that the Sox are only able to sell tickets to the season ticket holders and that MLB sets the date and price for the All-Star Game tix for all the seats that are not occupied by White Sox season ticket holders. I was contemplating going to last years All-Star game in Milwaukee and remember that online tix didn't go on sale until mid-May.

If you have any trouble getting rid of any of your tix HSC, just let me know ;) . Then again, I may not need to try and bum some tix from you if I can make up my mind and decide whether or not I'm going to go with one of the split-season ticket plans. Decisions..... decisions.....

killa you never have to worry about bumming tix from me..ya know i would gladly give you one if you asked........what do i do about the other two whinners though????????lol

We can wave "bye" to them as we leave them in USCF's parking lot to clean up after the tailgate and they can listen to the game from there. LMAO :D

sounds like a plan to me........ :headbang besides rps will just stand up in the concorse and smoke all day anyhow.......

Too bad the ticket sellers never believe us when we say that RPS doesn't need a ticket because he never occupies a seat. LOL!
