May 29, 200421 yr AHH! This is such a huge chance to go 3 up, but we blow it out our f***ing ass. 5-0.
May 29, 200421 yr Actually KW has been searching frantically for the 5th starter according to the Trib the past two days Nobody is willing to make any trades though Which makes me wonder why they could not get someone in the off season Someone cheap to fil up the 5th starter spot
May 29, 200421 yr I still do not understand how Jerry Reinsdorf can sit back and watch the Sox bend over for teams every fifth day. It's embarrasing. It's not that he's sitting back doing nothing...it's too early in the season to get anyone worth getting at the moment. KW has been trying to get a 5th starter (who is BETTER than the usual 5th starters, as he's targeting a solid #2, rather than some journeyman)...problem is, it's too early in the year for teams to raise white flags...so nobody worthwhile is available. -y2
May 29, 200421 yr I feel sorry for the people that buy tickets (like today) that debut a 5th starter.
May 29, 200421 yr A come back win here would be huge Right now, I'm more concerend about Rauch not allowing the team to fall too far behind.
May 29, 200421 yr I feel sorry for the people that buy tickets (like today) that debut a 5th starter. Can't go to the park to support the team only when they win, this is a huge problem with attendance already. Silver lining : At least the day our (4th tryout) #5 went on the hill, the Twins lost... -y2
May 29, 200421 yr The saddest part of this situation is that Rauch probably did a better job than either Wright or Cotts. The Sox must find a fifth starter as soon as possible.
May 29, 200421 yr The sox just have to realize that they don't need a 5 run homerun to get back into this. Just have to chip away.
May 29, 200421 yr I currently have an upset stomach... anyone has any recommendations in order to stop this monstrosity?
May 29, 200421 yr The sox just have to realize that they don't need a 5 run homerun to get back into this. Just have to chip away. I agree, but this team is obsessed with the idea of five-run homers. If they're going to make a move, it needs to start now.
May 29, 200421 yr We need a double from Lee... Or I can always do my imitation of the Sox radio announcers: "How about a long one..." Those fruits are ALWAYS talking about home runs. -y2
