I bet every GM can see through this. Actually I don't think it was a mistake at all. This could turn out to be a great motivator for the team, not Rauch. KW stuck up for the team, it keeps things together. Rauch can be sacraficed, but this shows the enitre team that KW is in there corner. On the other side, If the team forgives him, and he pitches again they just might kick it into another gear and rally around him. Quite frankly, its a ploy management uses in business when a team of people are grouped togehter to complete a task. The MEts are already interested in Rauch. There will be more.
