Brian Anderson

Has anyone been following him? I just pulled up his stats. In Winston-Salem class A ball, he is batting .328, with 5 homers, 3 triples and 17 doubles. That's impressive. not to mention his 9 stolen bases.

Nope never heard of him

Of course everyone's following him, he was our number 1 draft pick last year.

Well said. Anderson is tearing it up since he got healthy. Anderson's wrist problems had him barely above the Mendoza line and then he took some time off and came back healthy and tearing it up. If that is the difference with wrist injuries imagine how Reed would do when healthy as compared to now.

From the Rain on the Parade Department:

He has struck out twice as many times as he's walked. Not unusual for a guy in his first year of full season pro ball ... just goes to show he's got more work to do.

That said, he's doing quite well and appears to be a very good prospect.
