June 9, 200421 yr Hawk: "Here is the Sox killer Jim Thome." DJ: "Well he had a monster year last year, but he's been really struggling with runners in scoring position." CRACK! Hawk: "Not anymore." Seriously DJ just jinxed us again! Second time in the last 10 games. SOMEONE PLEASE TELL HIM TO SHUTUP!! CWSOX45
June 9, 200421 yr Anyone else notice how DJ misspeaks an awful lot too? I used to think it was first-year jitters but that was a few years ago. He is just so awkward with names especially. He must have mispronounced Thome's name 4 times when he read the lineup.
June 9, 200421 yr He made up for it by saying Juan Uribe runs like a lizard Oh man I was laughing... ...I wish I could watch this f***ing game.

He's not a good storyteller, which should be a requirement for color analysts as far as I'm concerned. He's not particularly funny. He has no business up in that booth.
June 9, 200421 yr I believe Wimpy left on some bad terms with Sox brass. Some old timer can probably fill in the details.
June 9, 200421 yr He made up for it by saying Juan Uribe runs like a lizard Oh man I was laughing... DJ can be such the jackass sometimes. Oh well, he's a pretty cool sidekick for Hawk.
