Tonight there were no fights during the game, that I saw.

Maybe it's because of the massive amounts of kids there, but I liked what I saw tonight :headbang

cubs game at the same time on the north side

I was there, great game. 33,000+ in attendance and the cubs had a home game as well. I really enjoyed the game.

I agree with your assessment SNB. I was with several friends in the outfield bleachers and not ONE Cub fan was in sight. As Cheat mentioned above, the Cubs were playing at the Urinal and any drunken yuppies already had their night planned

Overall it was a great evening of baseball at the Cell. In the row infront of me sat three hot girls who suprised me with their knowledge of the Sox. When the game first began they wouldn't shut up about the new American idol ripoff show on UPN (?), but when Uribe came up to bat (in the second) this blonde was discussing how great of a pickup he was for his our team. She said something about KW then CRACK, Juan serves up a a jack that lands 6 rows in front of us.

It wasn't until the fourth where I summoned the balls to initiate a conversation. All I did was simply tell one girl she sure knows her baseball and they invited themselves up to our row. Good times, rest of game we bulls***ted about the Cubs/Sox. I love our fanbase; everyone (from the bleachers to the UD) was into this game.

Have to admit when Polittie was summoned from the bullpen I was rather upset (along with everyone within earshot). Luckily the move was money with Cliff pitching a 1-2-3 9th.

33,000 fans witnessed a hell of a game. :headbang

It's really cool the boys could put on a good show in front of a nice home crowd. That's what it's all about. :headbang

I heard on the radio this morning that they limited beer sales to 1 beer for each purchase. That had to help too.
