Quickly on this point....

As long as they are 2 consenting adults age difference doesn't mean much to me.

Legal? Yes. Moral? Maybe. Looks bad? Absolutely. Comparable to Reagan being a divorcee? Absolutely not.

I see your point, though, Steff.

This is where I differ about things with Clinton.  I could care less about who he boinked or got a knob polish from.  Whatever.  It's his business.

That he lied about it under oath as a sitting president is what I have an issue with, as that mocks what this country is all about.

...in a sexual harassment case.

Agree to disagree. I don't think Jim and I look so bad together...

I see what CW said he was trying to get across. That he was trying to point out the faults of many over just one, or that not all were perfect.

I mean, on one hand you have Clinton lying about the sex stuff, then you have Bush giving us every reason under the sun for why we invaded Iraq, and yet never coming clean as to what his real motive was.

Then you have Reagan and whatever bad stuff he did, some say it was his lack of action against AIDS.

It all comes back to what I was saying, you can pick a poison on any of these guys.

I do still stand by it that no matter what was done, he is gone now and now is NOT the time to condemn him. Still too soon.

I'm just still pissed I can't get to my Yahoo mail.

OK Kid.. I see where you're coming from.

Still having trouble wth Yahoo...? Mine is fine :huh

Mine is fine  :huh

I know, you said that in the Yahoo thread. :D I finally got to see what the new look is, but then it wouldn't let me into the "inbox" area. My mail is quickly building up too!!!

I actually thought Clinton was a decent president. Sure, I thought pulling from Somalia as soon as we had a few soldiers killed was a huge mistake, and I disagreed with his policy on getting sucked off in the Oval Office on my dime, but other than that, he was OK.

oh, sorry -

LaRouche is defintely not a Libertarian.

I am not sure where he fits in on any spectrum.

We have a small libertarian party out here.  They are interesting folk (I say that in a very positive way).

Actually I just went and looked it up on his website and he lists himself as, and this isn't a joke, a Democratic precanditiate for President. WTF?

:notworthy Exactly! It's not so much he got some head on the side, but that he lied under oath. Seems he also took an oath to uphold the US Constitution. I wonder ......

And the implications that go with lying under oath. If he lied about getting head, what else, much, much more important did he lie about?
