Has Cotts ever batted before?

While watxhing the game last night, with 2 outs and a runner on 1st (Burke), Neal Cotts came to bat. After falling behind the count 1-2, he got it to a full count laying off 2 close pitches. On 3-2, he laced a double by the 'Spos 3rd baseman. It was awesome because he leans back in his batting stance. It was pretty fun and I think he is now one of our better batting pitchers. He could have had an RBI if Burke wasn't so damn slow. Props to Cotts!! :headbang

Buerhle will always be our best hitter. I'd even consider using him in pinch hit situations ala Dontrelle Willis a few nights ago.

I wouldn't agree, I think Garland is better.

Buehrle even admitted that.
