SoxFan1 Posted June 19, 2004 Share Posted June 19, 2004 While watxhing the game last night, with 2 outs and a runner on 1st (Burke), Neal Cotts came to bat. After falling behind the count 1-2, he got it to a full count laying off 2 close pitches. On 3-2, he laced a double by the 'Spos 3rd baseman. It was awesome because he leans back in his batting stance. It was pretty fun and I think he is now one of our better batting pitchers. He could have had an RBI if Burke wasn't so damn slow. Probably the reason a lot of people think he's the best hitting pitcher ever. but last night...even Hawk and DJ were laughing about how horrendous his approach was at the plate.
