BrandoFan
Since it was an unearned run, I can only assume Nomar's error had something to do with it. In any case, I am rooting aganst the Red Sox - 1918 and all. Yankees will make it, and I'd rather see Angels in there than Billy Caesar's A's. Wedge
Red Sox better watch for the Drays. Sox better wihn in minny next week, or uh oh uh-oh? you don't have to have the division lead by the ASB to make the playoffs, unless that's in Brando's special rules book. BrandoFan
lame... Lame?? Why, because I don't want to see a huge-payrolled team succeed? Because I don't want to see Bawston break their curse before we break ours? Because I do not like Pedro and Manny? Incidentally, I am also rooting for the Florida, Philladephia, Cards, Astros so they keep the Cubs from reaching the playoffs. I guess that's lame, too. Don't give me that big payroll crap when your rooting for the Yankees to win the division, christ.
aboz56
Screw the Red Sox, the Twins, Yankees or any other team in the AL... There is no room for being a fan of two AL teams as far as I am concerned, unless your name is Sultan Pimp and are a season ticket holder of the Anaheim Angels. I wouldnt be a White Sox fan if my parents didnt get divorced, so I guess my mom deserves praise from me for one thing.

You receive a pardon just because you aren't annoying about being a Red Sox fan...the true question will be when we play Boston, what will the tone of your posts about those games be? I was pretty annoying at the Cell last year in my Manny jersey when Shrek knocked in the game winning homer... I've learned though, I'll be just fine. ;o

BrandoFan
Don't give me that big payroll crap when your rooting for the Yankees to win the division, christ. Come again? Who said anything about "rooting" for the Yankees? I simply stated that they won't be stopped. Ideally, neither Yankees or Red Sox make it, but that's not realistic. BrandoFan
...or when Nomar gunned Rowand out at the plate... Nah, I wasn't too bad, I stayed to myself. I remember Manuel not pinch-running with Willie and Aaron getting thrown out. Would have been a HUGE run and a huge ballgame. The difference between leading the Twins by 3 games and 2 games with 5 head-to-head to go. Thanks Jerry. :fyou
