June 28, 200421 yr Author we have an option on shingo. i think konerko's got another year. I thought we had an option on shingo, kong has another year left...great. What about este what do u think his asking price will be, does he also have an option left. The main thing is maggs and garcia. if we go far in the playoffs--first we have to take the division-- do you think we can sign both? I also think attendence is a good sign. On another note garcias record against twins 4-1!

We'll most likely resign either Loaiza or Garcia, preferrably Garcia because he is younger and is entering his prime. If Loz will take mid-level money, he will stay. Konerko is signed through 2005. Shingo has a 2005 option, worth 2.5 million, which will be exercised. Maggs is the big mystery.

He's probably better then Ashlee Simpson anyways. I hope he can sign these players too. That would be nice Personally, I think we resign Jose(2 years, $5 or $6 mill for the whole deal...05 he is the main starter, but he starts to play a little more 2B and 3B along with SS, and in 06 he becomes the super utility guy for us), Esteban, and we make a serious attempt at resigning both Garcia and Maggs. I'd say that we resign Garcia(younger, quite possibly better, and costs less too), but who knows. If we go deep into the playoffs, and we get 2.3 mill fans at the end of the year, perhaps we resign everyone we need. I'm not sure.

We can worry about next year when the last out of the year (that being, hopefully in late-late October) is recorded.
