June 30, 200421 yr I'm not sure if anything has been announced or anything, but who do you think will get the starting nod at Wrigley, Rauch or Diaz? Diaz had success against the Cubs hitters, but they may not want to use him again, but rather use Rauch who the cubs have never seen. What do you think?

It is so accurate - OSU will always be #2 to #1 Michigan!
June 30, 200421 yr Match ups look like: Fri: Zambrano vs. Diaz Sat. Maddux vs. Esty Sun: Rusch vs. Buehrle But we have to worry about Minn first!
June 30, 200421 yr Saturday in the park: A decision on the fifth starter's spot, set to work Game 2 of the three-game series against the Cubs at Wrigley Field this weekend, won't be made until Wednesday by Guillen and pitching coach Don Cooper. For once, the White Sox will be deciding from a position of success where that particular spot in the rotation is concerned. i would lean towards rauch game 2 not game 1 mind you..... looks like diaz may have the edge

They skipped the 5th starter spot to throw Garcia tomorrow which throws things off a little bit. Loaiza will be pitching on his usual rest on Friday, Saturday will be Diaz and then Buehrle on Sunday.

June 30, 200421 yr welcome to soxtalk! (by the way, with a name like Valpo Nick we can guess what your location is... ) and thanks for the pitching info - Yes, I'm from good ole Valparaiso, IN. Actually not from there, just in school out here. Still in the Chicago market as far as cable goes though, so I don't ever miss a game
June 30, 200421 yr I'd use Diaz. I thought Rauch got away with a boatload of high pitches vs. the Indians. It seemed like he had 9 or 10 popups. Pitch high at Wrigley against Alou and their rightfielder, and you gonna get lit up.
June 30, 200421 yr diaz only gave up what, 2 runs against the cubs, maybe 3 if i am mistaken he earned the next start vs the flubs
