July 8, 200421 yr somebody should buy Willie Harris a "Best of Eckstein" tape. That's what we need out of him.

July 8, 200421 yr This is a big inning for ELO to go 1-2-3, or at least not to let them score... Sox need to keep some momentum going...
July 8, 200421 yr Holy s*** Burke hold on to the f***ing ball. He was out at first anyways... stupid ump
July 8, 200421 yr Loaiza got jobbed on Molina's at-bat. He was dropping pitches right into the strike zone and having them called balls. Oh, and I hope Davanon broke his leg.
July 8, 200421 yr Holy s*** Burke hold on to the f***ing ball. Ach!! Sounds like Lee's throw was right on, too.
July 8, 200421 yr i disagree with hawk on that..the ball arrived just a smidge ahead of the runner and he immeadiately made contact with the glove...DJ disagreed with hawk..so do i..it wasnt a play that couldnt have been made but it would have spectacular..kinda like sandy against the scrubs a few years ago.. but..jaime burke sux behind home plate...now i know why he's a 32 year old rookie
July 8, 200421 yr Didn't Burke also drop Timo's throw that would have gone down Patterson in Wrigley? Also in Loaiza's start? Kong couldn't make the tag. Burke drops the ball. Anyone else willing to give up precious outs?
July 8, 200421 yr Didn't Burke also drop Timo's throw that would have gone down Patterson in Wrigley? Also in Loaiza's start? Kong couldn't make the tag. Burke drops the ball. Anyone else willing to give up precious outs? St. Jose tried to pull that pitch that was right over the plate, and popped it up. Another wasted precious out.
July 8, 200421 yr Kong couldn't make the tag. Burke drops the ball. Anyone else willing to give up precious outs? Ty Cobb once said something about being aggressive running the bases. He decided to be aggressive once he realized that it's five times harder to make a defensive play. That's why small ball works. You're willing to give up outs... but sometimes the other team won't take them from you!
