July 16, 200421 yr There have been many times over the years that Reinsdorf has said, or it has been said by Schueler, if there was one guy who could put us over the top we would go get him, or there'd be money for that, or words to that effect. Well now is that time and Johnson is that guy. Beltran, not so much, but he'd help a lot. So, Jerry, how about a little stepping up? How about we let this play out before anyone jumps on the Sox ass.. (lot of ass comments in this thread.. hmm..) If Randy doesn't want to come here there's nothing they can do. BTW Al.. I don't mean to imply you are jumping on their ass.. just making a general statement.
July 16, 200421 yr No prob Stef. I agree we can only let this thing develop over the next 2 weeks. I just read the other thread that mentioned Javy, and I agree, getting him would be huge.
