July 21, 200421 yr I really hope that KW is not satisifed with our catching core right now. Even the Twins are trying to upgrade their catching position by trying to acquire Dan Wilson. This could be good news for the Sox that Mauer might be out for longer than expected. I'd still much rather have a combo of Lecroy and Blanco than Alomar, Burke, and Davis.

July 21, 200421 yr I dont think Dan Wilson is going anywhere. Mariners have said Moyer, Martinez and Wilson are the 3 vets they want to keep. I dont know why, but they do. Oh my god, we agree on something! The Mariners are nuts not to trade Dan Wilson. They already have their catcher of the future in Olivo, and Wilson is nothing special. They already turned down Wilson for Restovich, who's the type of power hitting prospect they really need.
