Having just entered the workforce, I now can suffer thru this pro cubs loony radio show. But, I thought i heard he was gone.

Possibly. They are looking to do a lineup re-shuffle in a few weeks and initially he was slated to do the evening shift, but from what I have heard that is now in jeopardy. He may be gone entirely. The last week or so he has really been a bastard and only talked Cub. I have heard of several Sox fans who called in to be put on hold and eventually disconnected and others are able to get in to ask a question, get a 10 second answer and then Murph somehow relates it back to cub and then talks about that for another 45 minutes. You can sense it in his voice that "He Gone".

 

He used to be tolerable because Fred did add some balance, but now Murph just doesn't care and is not letting him.

I heard North might be moving to the mornings

Here is the lineup I originally saw, but remember I have heard rumblings that Murph may be gone entirely:

Afternoons---J Hood with newly signed Rick Telander

Evenings-----Mike Murphy

Overnight----Sporting News Radio

You can get your sports fix by watching the games and READING. Sports radio is about comedy first and foremost.
