July 24, 200421 yr I like Carl at DH. He scares me in the OF. The last few games with Gload in LF and Timo in RF, show me Ozzie doesn't want to sacrifice defense for offense. Esp. after their plays saved runs. Carl's injuries this year [ankle, hamstring] probably will keep him at DH.
July 24, 200421 yr no to fullmer. rather have an outfielder who can hit some but play very good d if we're going to survive this, it will be with pitching and defense. we're not going to find another Maggs -- unless it's Beltran.

Why do we need another DH? Carl is going to be our DH, A-Row is going in CF, and Timo in RF... We don't need another bat unless it is Beltran... rolleyeyes.gif
