This is the type of outing i think everyone has expected from Cotts all season. He pitched one hell of an inning, hitting his spots and striking out two guys looking on the inside corner. Lets hope Neal can over come his recent control woes and start pitching up to his potential

Neals numbers would be fine, but for some reason Ozzie likes to follow Neal with Mike Jackson, who has allowed 14 of 22 runners inherited to score. I wonder what Neals era would be with someone like Adkins or Politte following him out of the pen.

Neal has a chance to be a good one

Yea Cotts looked great out there today, in fact, our pitching today overall did a very good job. It seems this past week we can't put a complete game together. We either have good pitching in a game or put up enough runs but have poor pitching. The pieces are there now they just have to be put together to succeed.
