July 31, 200421 yr Author With out giving up anything for a guy like Olerud, it is a nice pick up. Obviously he wasn't cutting it this year in Seattle. But the guy plays ball the way Torre likes. And he's a decent defensive player. With Giambi out, he'll be given a chance to play a bit, along with Tony Clark.
