I am now an official member of the Houston Astros, Florida Marlins, San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants Fan Club

I believe the Oswalt/Barrett confrontation will resemble the Torrii/Burke for the Cubs and Stros

f*** the chokers. :fthecubs

Its kind of funny, because I've always been a long time fan of the Marlins, Astros, Giants and Padres.

Go to whoever the hell wants to win the WC! Except the Cubs of course.

Florida and Houston are winning tonight while the Cubs are getting OWNED by Livan Hernandez and the Expos.

4 teams could be within 3 and 1/2 or 4 games of each other by the end of tonight - it's shaping up to be a very interesting race in September. The Cubs have the easiest schedule, it would appear, but they haven't really played all that well, so they can't be too overconfident about that.

Easy schedule you say? I hope they play like we have with our "easy" schedule :lolhitting

Cubs lose tonight, they still have to play Atlanta/Marlins

Cubs at this point are .5 game ahead of the padres, and 3.5 above MArlins/Astros.

Giants just started, a win puts them in a tie with the chokers.

Marlins/Astros 3

Houston wins, now only 2.5 out of the lead.

I hope they do too, but the fact remains that they play Montreal, Pittsburgh, Cincy and the Mets ( also 6 with Florida and 3 with Atlanta ) while SF and SD play each other and LA.

I don't know the Marlins and Astros remaining schedules, but I'm going to assume that the Marlins have to play the Braves a bit, and the Astros have some Cardinals games left.

All things considered, if the Cubs play like they SHOULD against the teams they face, I think they should still win the Wild Card, unfortunately.
