August 31, 200421 yr I am now an official member of the Houston Astros, Florida Marlins, San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants Fan Club I believe the Oswalt/Barrett confrontation will resemble the Torrii/Burke for the Cubs and Stros f*** the chokers. :fthecubs
September 1, 200421 yr Its kind of funny, because I've always been a long time fan of the Marlins, Astros, Giants and Padres. :fthecubs :sosasucks
September 1, 200421 yr Florida and Houston are winning tonight while the Cubs are getting OWNED by Livan Hernandez and the Expos. 4 teams could be within 3 and 1/2 or 4 games of each other by the end of tonight - it's shaping up to be a very interesting race in September. The Cubs have the easiest schedule, it would appear, but they haven't really played all that well, so they can't be too overconfident about that.

I hope they play like we have with our "easy" schedule
September 1, 200421 yr Author Cubs lose tonight, they still have to play Atlanta/Marlins Cubs at this point are .5 game ahead of the padres, and 3.5 above MArlins/Astros. Giants just started, a win puts them in a tie with the chokers.
September 1, 200421 yr Author Giants will win, tying them with the Chokers. Cubs/Giants Padres .5 Marlins/Astros 3
September 1, 200421 yr Easy schedule you say? I hope they play like we have with our "easy" schedule I hope they do too, but the fact remains that they play Montreal, Pittsburgh, Cincy and the Mets ( also 6 with Florida and 3 with Atlanta ) while SF and SD play each other and LA. I don't know the Marlins and Astros remaining schedules, but I'm going to assume that the Marlins have to play the Braves a bit, and the Astros have some Cardinals games left. All things considered, if the Cubs play like they SHOULD against the teams they face, I think they should still win the Wild Card, unfortunately.
