September 2, 200421 yr Amber alert Issued For Peoria Girl Girl Taken From Home On Wednesday POSTED: 6:19 pm CDT September 1, 2004 UPDATED: 6:20 pm CDT September 1, 2004 CHICAGO -- Peoria police have issued an Amber alert for a 1-year-old child who was abducted on Wednesday. Police are looking for a teal green Ford Escort with red tape over the right rear taillight, with the license plate number 6124174. The child, Terra Singh-Purewal, is described as a 2-foot-3-inch, 25-pound white female with brown eyes. She is bald, according to police, and she is described as wearing a yellow Winnie-The-Pooh outfit. She was taken from 806 E. Kansas St. in Peoria. The suspects in the case are 26-year-old Amber J. Singh-Pravatte, who is described at being 5 feet 4 inches and weighing 200 pounds, with red hair and brown eyes. The other suspect is Indra Singh-Purewal, who is described at a 51-year-old white male who is 5 feet 9 inches tall, 135 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with any information pertaining to the case is asked to contact police.

I'll see if anymore info is in there, since it happened today, to be in thursdays paper(a b**** to deliver, cuz of the extra sections they put in). Amber alert Dropped Updated September 1, 2004 8:52pm Authorities on Wednesday night cancelled an Amber alert for a one-year-old Peoria girl. Peoria police say officers from Bloomington found Terra Singh-Purewal with her parents earlier in the evening. Indra Singh-Purewall and Amber Singh-Pravette are in police custody and are being questioned by authorities. The girl was reported missing after her parents took her from the Boys and Girls Club on East Kansas in Peoria Wednesday morning. At the time of her disappearance, Terra was in the custody of Catholic Charities
