Well, this is kind of random, but your right, polls can be really tough and some times, whether you like it or not their is an assload of bias in a poll.

But he had NO lead in ANY poll 3 weeks ago...

Actually I'll make this even more confusing...

1 month ago, Time Magazine showed Kerry with a 7% lead.

Does anyone honestly believe that he lost 20% of the vote in the last month when there are only about 5% undecideds out there?

I think Time Magazine needs to do a better job polling.

It depends on who they were polling and honest the people were being when answering the polls. I can't say I ever put much stock into political polls.

likely voters

registered voters

eligible voters

was the polling done at Denny's @ 3PM for the early bird special? -- all polls can be manipulated.

pretty much my thoughts too... i just threw this out there, b/c it was so different than anything else out there

Let me clarify.. Time needs to do a better job polling because I dont believe that Kerry had a 7% lead a month ago and I don't believe that Bush has anywhere near a 10% lead right now.

It was probably Kerry by 4% last month and Bush by 3% now.

Americans, on the whole, are an easily influenced bunch.

Don't think so? How many people bought a freakin' Ab Shocker from those stupid infomercials? They made millions off of people who thought they could lose their spare tire by getting shocked by a 9-volt battery repeatedly.

Politics is no different. Convince people that you have the New and Improved model, flash a bunch of patriot rhetoric, and don't offend the rich and powerful, and you've got a recipe for success.

Lots of Americans bought Bush's speech last night. That doesn't make them any brighter.

The sad thing is Americans are going to buy his sad bulls*** this year, and then his brothers recycled sad bulls*** in 2008.
