September 7, 200421 yr I grant that Jose is the team leader. However, I don't see the problem with changing the "leadership" of a team that, regardless of talent, cannot ever crack the 85 win mark.
September 7, 200421 yr Am I the only one who wants to see someone who can hit the hell out of lefties in here? Our record vs. lefties is garbage this year. I've never seen a team that has so many righties in it just fizzle out against lefties... I haven't looked at a free agent list, but it would be nice if we can find a hitter who can platoon with another player that is able to kill lefties... No, you're not. Call me crazy, but none of those 3 (Valentin, Uribe or Vizquel) get me really excited. You build up the middle, spend the loot, get a guy in his prime.
