September 10, 200421 yr Damn I didn't know Manny Alexander is still playing.. Sammy Sosa has never been the same since Manny left the Cubs. For those that don't know, it's widely believed that Alexander "introduced" Sosa to the roids. Alexander was eventually busted for steroids a few years after.

They do for some reason. But they usually seem to be low run HRs. I wonder why that is? I wonder if it is playing in the small park, or a function of the pitching they are taught?

The thing I see is the fact our pitchers seem to have a lot of movement on their pitches, or so I believe. Is it the fact they have a tendency to bring the ball over the plate with that movement? Or as you said are they taught to just get it across?
