Oprah gives entire audience new cars

....that's why I got my 1993 Suzuki Sidekick, YO.....

That's why I drive a PT Cruiser. No other car says "RnR" quite like it. ;) Yes, fuzzy dice and all.

Steff, ya need to specify types and years. Yes, I agree then, they don't seem to need a new car.

Channel 2 interviewed a couple this morning who was there... their big concern was how they were going to get their lexus home since their 15 year old (who was with them) couldn't drive alone.  :rolly

Maybe they made it past the screeners. I went to a taping a few years ago and her studo audience is mostly upper class females.

That must have been it, because there intent was for the people to need the cars.

I wish someone would give me a brand new car. I'm stuck driving a 94 Chevy Lumina.

More on this...

Anyone remember the GM "Hot button" contest? GM gave away 1000 cars and it cost over $25 million to do. This cost Pontiac, just under $8 million and 276 cars, but does anyone doubt the publicity generated was exponentially greater? This was pure genius on the behalf of Pontiac, and smart of Oprah to catch along for the ride.

Hell, I'd take a new car if it meant sitting through an episode of Oprah
