Los Angeles @ San Francisco

Featured Replies

The Dodgers start the 1st inning by scoring two runs off of SP, Hennessey. But in the bottom of the 1st, former White Sox, Ray Durham leads off with a home run. Then on the second, SF SP helps himself out with an RBI single to tie the game.

If the Giants win than they'll be .5 games behind that WC lead.

2-2 in the bottom of the 3rd.

Damn we were spoiled with Ray at 2B. At least offensively he was one of the best in the league for a while there. Even when he had some parting words for KW et. al. I never had bad feelings for #5.

San Francisco SP is out of the game and is replaced by Wayne Franklin.

And Alex's brother is our 3B coach and former 2nd baseman.

I can't tell you how many times I have seen "Joey Cora of the Los Angeles Dodgers..." in recap stories.

4-4 TIE!!!

Durham ties it with an RBI double!

Once again former White Sox, Ray Durham, hits a double to tie the game up.

4-4 SF in the bottom of the 4th.

Scott Stewart replaces Jose Lima.

Lima goes 3.2 IP allowing 4 earned runs.

Excellent. :headbang :cheers

Cubs collapse is in full transition and should be complete by the Atlanta series. It all depends on whether or not Cincinnati continues their job as Whores of the National League.

Giants back within a half game :headbang

I wish it was a team I like competing against the Cubs for the Wild Card.

As it is, it's two teams I don't really care about slugging it out.

First the Marlins crap out, now the Astros are sputtering, and the Padres never really had a serious chance at it - not yet, not this year.

Makes it easier to ignore, though, so that's good....
