Did anyone ever notice that Adkins always carries a brown paper sack lunch to the bullpen before every game????

Stupid thread, I know, but we started calling him sack lunch at the games this season. And I had a beer with him a Joe's and even though I always thought it was a turkey sub with a juice box and a snack pack, he said he had to carry candy out to the bullpen for the vets. I thought that was pretty funny....And I also think that sack lunch is a great nickname for him....what do you think???

I saw an interview with Neal cotts or Jon Garland, I forget which, probably Neal, anyway one of the questions was about food/good places to eat, etc. Neal said "you should probably ask Adkins that question he's always the one who's eating."

hahahahaha, I didnt know how short he was until I met him too, I just think that sack lunch fits him perfect. I wish someone else would've seen him always walking out of the clubhouse with that lunch in his hand, hahahaha

Speaking of rookie hazing, the pitcher on the Indians that was shot in the calf yesterday was wearing a USC Cheerleaders uniform, and was probably saved by the white boots that's part of the uni.
