thedoctor
i realize that steve stone's straight-shooting approach might not sit well with jerry reinsdorf, but i've always felt stone was one of the best analysts out there. i would love to see him doing sox games, although i realize it is highly unlikely. plus, i just don't like d.j., but that's just me. AngelasDaddy0427
I've actually been a fan of Stone for years now, I just could never admit it until he started speaking the truth about the chokers. I can't see the sox hiring him though.
Texsox
There's a long thread in the Sports Bar regarding the Cub Announcers.

Their knowledge of the game in progress along with the terrible rambling on about nothing, has long annoyed me when hearing a cubs game. If I have to hear that another cubs batter "hammered" the ball into shallow center into the glove of the fielder im going to puke. Every out that they make, they were "robbed", I believe that one of the reasons that cubs fans are the most ignorant and overreative fans in the league is because of their sportscasters. :fthecubs
