Today's game.

Why no word on today's game? My Realplayer is not working so I have no clue what the hell is going on.

By the way, this is the 1500th topic :headbang

I think the Sox lost 4-2. Koch gave up his first run of the spring in the ninth, although he didnt pitch bad.

I think Loiaza start and gave up 3 runs in the first. Danny Wright through 2 innings and gave up a hit.

Most people seem to be having trouble with real so who knows. Tomorrow I'll try updating everyone on most of the game since I won't be at work or busy with school stuff (At least i hope I won't)

Yea the Sox lost 4-2. Loaiza started and got the loss. He is now 3-2. The Sox did score 2 in the 1st inning though, that's been something that they've done a lot of lately. :headbang

Dan Wright did not give up a run. Loaiza gave up 3, and you said Koch gave up 1. We lost 4-2, so by default, Wright had to have given up 0 (assuming he pitched, which he was scheduled to do).

We were up 2-0 after the top of the 1st, then got shutout for the rest of the game. The Rockies answered with 3 in the bottom of the 1st, and then added one (off Koch, assuming you are correct) in the 9th.

Oops meant to say he gave up a 1 in 2 innings.

"a 1 in 2 innings"?

Yeah, what does that mean.

Yeah, what does that mean.

BTW, the Honkey Tonk Man rules. Definitely nice to see someone appreciating 1980's WWF. :)

Well, true...but I noticed his avatar a while ago, and laughed, but never said anything about it. The HTM is important stuff. :D

I saw him at a local show a couple summers ago. He's looking pretty old. I asked for his autograph, but I didn't get it.

Sometimes the old timers that have been reduced from 1980's super stardom to local indy shows are bitter. But, it's nice when some fans remember that they were once great. It's also sad to see what some of them have become. (see: Jake Roberts) :(

Yeah, have you seen "Beyond the mat"? Sad.

During the match, Honkey's wrist tape came off and it was dangling on the ropes, and my friend went up and grabbed it. He now has it hanging on his wall.

Speaking of the autograph thing, he had a little table set up and was charging for autographs. I'll never pay someone for an autograph. Anyhow, he had a WCW heavyweight title with his name printed on it on display, I guess to show people he used to be something. Funny thing is, he never was WCW champion. :D

I think this is what they were talking about when they said that the subject changes mid-thread, LOL, but oh well.

And yes, I own "Beyond the Mat", and it's a great documentary. It's sad, but at the same time, gives you a perspective that fans otherwise wouldn't get. Definitely award-worthy.

Have you ever gone to a live WWF event?

Have you ever gone to a live WWF event?

I went to WrestleMania XII in Anaheim at the Pond, but that was way back in 1996. After that, I "discovered" ECW, and couldn't stand any other fed after that. I went to Heat Wave 2000 at the Grand Olympic Auditorium, and that was the last live show I attended, and probably my last ever. Not because it wasn't fun, because I had a great time -- I just am not into wrestling anymore now that ECW is defunct.

Well, Vince is thinking about rebuilding ECW under Paul Heyman's watch. Basically, giving Paul the Saturday night slot where Velocity and Confidential are. Although those plans are very preliminary and may not happen for a while.

?

I went to WWF Backlash here in Chicago in May of 2000. It was a pretty fun time. Not really into wrestling that much anymore, but I catch a match evey once in a while.

I haven't been able to track down a box score yet, but I found out that Frank had 2 more hits along with 2 RBI's, and Loaiza gave up 3 runs (2 earned) in 5 innings. Dunno what Wright did, but I would presume he pitched 2 innings (the 6th and 7th), and gave up no runs.

Frank is going to be great this year.

I went to RAW and Smackdown last year in Seattle, and am going to Wrestlemania on Sunday.

LOL, nice to see you're trying to stay on topic with your token "Frank is going to be great" comment, LOL, too funny. :D

Hey I can't resist the oppurtunity to compliment the 2003 AL , All-Star Game, and World Series MVP. That's right, mark it down.

That would definitely rule.

Frank has struggled in the playoffs in his career, though. I think he was 0-9 against Seattle, and against the Blue Jays he hit .200 or lower. Although, he hasn't been the only guys who have struggled when it really matters.

Hopefully 2003 will be a 180 turn-around for the White Sox organization.

O-10, actually. Since Seattle is the team around here, I heard alot of it at school, bastards. I found out that they were swept after football practice. I was fighting off tears in the locker room.
