And to think, when I purchased my Wild/Hawks tickets for this Friday back in November, I was going to see a good game.

The Wild are good though boring but if there's a team to open it up against...

I'm going next Friday to ( unfortunately ) see the Blues pummel the lowly Blackhawks.

 

Did you see that there was still a hat on the ice for Yashin's hat trick when he scored his 4th goal?

Why are you people still lining Dollar Bill's pockets? Geez, you couldn't get me to pay for a Hawk ticket if I lived across the street from the UC. And I grew up a Hawk fan. But this is just sadistic, IMHO.

I can only tell you why I am going - three points:

 

My sister-in-law and her husband are coming to town, and asked if we could see a game

 

I still LOVE hockey, even if the Hawks suck

 

I'm not a huge fan of the AHL, even though the Wolves put on a quality show - the NHL is still the best brand of hockey available ( even when the home team sucks )

Wirtz has already says he thinks there is a going to be a lockout after next year , they are signing nobody in the offseason and have said next season is clearly a THROW away season waiting on a labor agreement, not like he has been out of the 60's EVER. SELL NOW

Wirtz is right on this issue though. The owners will lock the players out and there is no point to sign anyone, because hockey is in shambles.
