November 4, 200421 yr Yeah this season is history... its a shame what these bastards have done to this game. Bettman is terrible, he has ruined this game with over expansion and no real pub for the game. Hopefully one day Hockey will be back but will anyone care when they do?? I will but most probably won't.

There are far more hockey fans here than you think but we're all Blackhawks fans and totally demoralized by the continuing reign of Dollar Bill.

Yeah, through and through I am still a B's fan. Though last year I really had fun watching the Flames run through the playoffs. I watched every one of their games I could. The loss to Tampa was devistating, truth be told, and I have an empty bottle of whiskey to prove it. I really wanted to see them do it. But yeah go Bruins, maybe some time soon they can actually win a playoff series
November 6, 200421 yr It's bummed me, but we are going to try and start going to some Komets and/or K-Wings games when time permits. We'd also like to go and see some ECHL and/or AHL games. Word is the last set of season ticket holders got a letter about the team coming back next year - let's hope! (where's a finger crossing smiley when ya need one lol?!)
November 6, 200421 yr Let's see now. Gone to hockey games since 1980. Got southsider hooked. Let's just say that I have a few ties with some folks in the hockey world. I might realy like baseball, but hockey is the best sport, IMO.

November 7, 200421 yr This season is toast and I've heard that there is a potential to miss at least some of next season as well. The NHL is dying friends and neighbors. Even when and if it comes back it will be a shell of its former self. What a waste. At least the AHL will get somewhat better with NHL refugees.

They are cancelling games 45 days ahead of where they are now, so they are pretty much to the new year right now. If they make it to Christmas without fixing this, there is no hope. And given the fact that they aren't even talking right now, I don't see how they will iron all of this out in 6 weeks.
