March 30, 200323 yr The more I look at it, I wonder if the Tampa Bay Devil Rays could beat our AAA team. I am pretty sure our AAA staff would have more talent, espesially if Josh Stewart was included in that mix. They have no offense. And they have 17 guys making the minimum as rookies or 2nd year players! But Detroit might be able to challenge them, and KC could be a couple of salary dumps away from being that bad also.
March 30, 200323 yr KC is actually pretty decent. they may finish about .400 team this year. they are much better than det. and tampa bay. i think todd ritchie might shock you guys this year. but i also think mill. will finish has the worst team in baseball
March 30, 200323 yr Author So what do you guys think, could Tampa beat our AAA team in a 3 game series?
March 31, 200323 yr THE TWINS! No, I think Milwaukee is the worst team because hey signed Ritchie and Clayton. And no, the D_Rays could not beat our AAA team.
March 31, 200323 yr Author I will say this much after figuring out who our AAA pitcher were, I don't see how any of them couldn't start over the scrubs that are the DRays starting 5. As a matter of a fact I think they could break into the KC, Detroit, and Cleveland rotations as well.
March 31, 200323 yr The worst team will be Milwaukee....if Ritchie pitches half as bad as he did last year....he could lose 25 games. Now knowing our luck....Ritchie will be a 20-game winner....and Royce will win the triple crown.
March 31, 200323 yr I dunno, but I'm thinking the Padres. - Pete I might agree with that. They were already going to be a .500 at best team, then they lost Nevin and Hoffman for the season, and there's not much hope for them to get better anytime soon. I think the D'Rays will actually be respectable considering their amount of talent (either that, or Lou will be dead by the AS break). The only team I could see being worse than the Padres would be the Tigers.
March 31, 200323 yr the worst team would have to be anyone who cant beat the scrubbies............ Those teams and Tampa Bay
March 31, 200323 yr I dunno, but I'm thinking the Padres. - Pete no way, they have some good young arms and some decent bats...while not great, nowhere near the lack of talent found on the staffs of kc or tampa, or maybe even milwaukee kc's rotation is a joke, and tampa bay is a major league team made up of basically AAA players, so i think a 3 game series with our AAA team would be pretty interesting. how bad is tampa's AAA team considering all their players are on the big league roster? lol

They do have quite a few very talented prospects, both position wise (Xavier Nady, Sean Burroughs, Vazquez) and pitching wise.
April 1, 200323 yr After our pitiful game opener, I'd have to say the White Sox! But in all seriousness, I'd have to go with the D-Rays too
