Monday Night Football

Featured Replies

This fire nonsense has taken up every channel on television tonight. I can't believe there isn't Monday Night Football tonight. How frustrating.

Thoughts.

MNF is on here.... :huh

MNF is on here.... :huh

I have always taken monday night football for granted.. tonight i found myself actually watching a wwf wrestling match, something I haven't done since I was like eight years old, because I was so sick of the fire coverage.

MNF is being pre-empted in the Chicagoland area cause of the high-rise fire coverage..If you have comcast digital it's on 217...too bad i don't

Yes, a could be deadly fire is on insted of the POWERHOUSE's that are Dallas and Seattle.

What is the world coming to??? :rolly  :rolly

I was actually sad and discouraged for the first half hour, and then two hours later it got a little repetitive in my opinion.

I'm on the East coast, I hadn't even seen that. :pray

You're missing a good game. Seattle exploded early, Jerry Rice made one nice catch. Plus good hits (none great) by Roy Williams and Marcus Trufant. Even soft defenses have moments. And I have Hasselbeck on the bench, nuts.

I watched about an hour of the coverage..it's pretty bad, but I had to watch something else for a bit...

So one of the only "good" Monday Night Games of the year I miss, great.

No kidding. They've been pretty sad this year.

At the start of the game, I thought Seattle was FINALLY playing up to their talent, I thought they would crunch Dallas. But the Cowboys started playing respectable, especially Julius Jones. Hope you get the finish! :)

High rise fires is a huge story in Chicago, especially after last year's tragic fire in the County Building., where a friend of mine was killed. While I would rather watch the game, you can't fault ABC for covering this story.

Yeah i was interested for the first 20 minutes, then I started hearing the same stuff over and over. I keep switching back and it still says breaking news. Didnt this happen at 640? At least put a mini PiP screen on the bottom with the MN game.

Prays go out to the victims and families involved.

HOLY CRAP ITS ON....how the hell did Dallas come back like that, it was 14-3 wasnt it?

about freakin time.

Julius. Jones.

Testaverde has also played well, but JJ has made some pretty runs. The Seahawks have meanwhile collapsed. Alexander fumbled, Hasselbeck can't hit anyone -- it's just maddening. Privately, I really thought Seattle had a great Super Bowl shot this year. They would have been my pick from the NFC at the start of the season.

And its gone, as i said before my prayers go out to the firefighters who are in critical condition, and its back after i missed that long pass

The fire?

The fire?

the coverage.

Wow, Dallas comes back and takes the lead 43-39, with 2 TDs in 2:14....32 seconds left.

Great game, Dallas looks really good getting Julius Jones and an extra 1st round pick instead of Stephen Jackson. 30 carries 198 yards.

And Dallas wins. Hell, that's a microcosm of Seattle's season.

I really was pulling for Seattle, but I have more than a little pleasure in seeing Jones play well. I don't watch much college football, but I did watch a lot of ND last season (mainly to see how Quinn looked). And I always liked Jones -- I don't have any expertise, but everyone gets lucky once in a while. He makes great cuts, he's quick, he's a fun player to watch.
