I think at the money it is a very nice signing...

Well he's not the guy to lead us to greatness. But Kenny has brought in two very good role players. Two very good signings, imo.

 

The key to this offseason will be what starter is added, but the two additions thus far are very good imo. With Gibbons and Cora as potential pickups around the non-tender period.

Well he's not the guy to lead us to greatness.  But Kenny has brought in two very good role players.  Two very good signings, imo.

There's really no point in signing Gibbons now considering we have Dye and Everett in RF, even though Carl will DH for the 1st month. A starter or an infielder is definitely a more pressing need, maybe even a catcher still, depending on what happens with Ben Davis.

I have more then a feeling that Konerko will be gone by the time non-tenders come around and Gload won't be the starting first baseman, imo.
