SnB
Hey guys, i know some of you are the train-goers and such so i gotta question for you. I'm going up to soxfest this weekend and i need to take the train up there. Now i'm going to take the rock island line from midlothian. It says it dropps off at the lasalle st. station. My question is: is the lasalle st. station the same as union station? I know i'm an idiot...but help?

Rex Kickass
No it is not. Go to the metra website and it will show you exactly where the station stop is. If you click on the line and station.
mreye
LaSalle St station is te end of that line and it stops at my building. (LaSalle & Congress) (One Financial Place) You may be best off taking a cab from there. Check the CTA web site for the L to get you to Soxfest. The Purple, Orange and Brown have lines nearby. The Blue line is around the corner and the Red line is about a 4 block walk. When you get off the Metra take the "Y" to the right, go down the escalators and on your left will be a map of the city with all the lines. It should help you.
