Probally because two pretty impressive streaks were on the line.

Yeah I know that but Illinois/Wiscy just doesn't seem like it would get the national acclaim to be top 7 all time.

They hyped the hamburgers out of that game.

ESPN should take full advantage of the Illini as they really seem more like a more marketbale team than Stanford was last year. They should pick up as many of their games as they can and should already be hyping the Spartan/Illini game on Tuesday night.

I think for all intents and purposes it was a #1 vs. a #2 game. I say that because both streaks were so impressive that it seemed to be on legit equal footing.
