Let Buerhle go 100 and then bring in the pen. No need to burn his arm on first day

He on pace for around 115 pitches for 9 innings. I don't know if Oz wants him to throw that many this early in the season though.

I would probably let him go eight, it's only his 1st start

Hell no. The bullpen has been built to prevent that kind of pitch count. Especially this early in the season.
