Alright so i'm exporting some of my CDs into my Itunes library and then into my Ipod. I came across one of my CDs where this does not work because it has other files on it, such as music videos, pictures, etc. So when i go to "file - add file to library" it only gives me the option to import these bogus files, not any of the songs.

Is there any way to get these songs into ITunes? I can't figure it out.

If I understand what you have, is it possible via Windows Explorer or My Computer to get a directory of the CD and move just the music tracks to your hard drive, them into iTunes from there? I assume the software is trying to handle the entire CD.

Try downloading the Ipodagent, and import the songs into that program first. Then import them into your ITunes library.

That's the most streamlined route, but just putting the files to your hard drive first and then importing from there will work too.

go into "My Computer"

click on your CD drive, cut the songs you want off the CD

paste them somewhere on your computer

then when your in itunes add the songs from the location you pasted it to.

dont know too much bout itunes/ipods but know you can rip tracks on a cd in musicmatch to your hard drive as of course mp3s. open up musicmatch (free version on net to download if ya dont have it) and then open the recorder. pop in your cd should come up in the recorder with each track listed and just click record...
