Indiana shutout???

Featured Replies

I just noticed something. The entire state of Indiana didn't send a team to the NCAA tournament. Anyone know the last time that happened? I sure can't think of it.

I think, on the news they said 1972.

Wow 1972, that is amazing. With the tournament history the state of Indiana has, that is pretty amazing.

No Butler, no Valpo, no ND, no IU, no Purdue, no Evansville, no ISU, no IUPUI. Wow.

Dang, down year for the state of Indiana. Just shows how good of a state they are by getting at least one team in for 33 years.

I think next year should be pretty good for Indiana. Purdue will have a good team back and Indiana should be VERY tough. We'll have to see about ND though.

I believe this would have happened last year as well, except that IUPUI went dancing.

Illinois, the real basketball state

I find it hard to believe that Purdue will make it all the way back to NCAA Tournament level in one year. Their cupboard seemed pretty dry to me.

Valpo was the one that saved the streak last year.

Sounds right, now that I think about it.

I'm not saying they'll be back, but with Landry, Teague, and that Uconn transfer they will have to improve.
