March 24, 200521 yr Travis Henry, etc via a trade and that then they could target a WR. Makes sense to me, but PFT is a garbage website. Lovie Smith sounded like they wouldn't mind another WR and another RB, but I love how the offense is going to be more of a ball control offense.
March 24, 200521 yr Author Yep, he reported they may trade their 1st round pick, 5th overall too And no thats not a typo.
March 24, 200521 yr The bears add a vet RB then they can take WR Mike Williams w/ the 4th pick. Picking Williams is the key

March 24, 200521 yr There have been rumors the Bears interest in Edge, etc. I doubt Henry, unless the Bills are willing to give him up for a 2nd day pick. With our 2nd round pick we could trade for Edge or Alexander, both much better than Henry. SB

March 25, 200521 yr I really dont understand all the RB talk. Thomas Jones is good and will have an even better year. That should be very low on the list of needs(We could get a backup RB easy). What worries me far more than anything else is the O LINE. Thats where they need to improve and it's pretty much been a proven fact that a good offensive line can lead ANY running back to a great season(The Broncos) John Tait-LT Olin Kreutz-C The rest has quesetion marks...
